Facilitator & Trainer - Barbara Wyckoff

Barbara is a certified professional co-active coach (CPCC) by Coaches Training Institute (CTI). She has worked both in the United States and internationally on environmental, community and economic development issues, with collaborations from community groups to international organizations, and from scientists to indigenous peoples.
Bringing experience and solutions from her work with over 40 organizations (including World Wildlife Fund, the Ford Foundation, Rural Action and Appalachia Sustainable Development), she has a knack for spotting strengths and under-developed skills.

She deepens clients' learning and forwards their actions, asking them to do what they won't ask of themselves.

What is included in the program?

• Initial retreat at Pendle Hill in Wallingford, PA, October 14-17, 2011

• Second retreat at Menucha Retreat and Conference Center from March 23-25, 2012

• Bi-weekly assignments, including individual coaching calls and peer learning groups

Why?

The American workforce is experiencing a shift as Baby boomers retire and more and more Generation X and Yers are moving into leadership roles. The business community recognizes the need to develop these new leaders to meet the challenges of the next decade. Even with the economic downturn, many large corporations are investing in leadership development programs.

Unfortunately, community organizations and small business are facing this same shift often without the resources to invest in expensive leadership programs. It is with the hope of filling this gap that NNFP began a leadership initiative designed specifically for community organizations and small businesses in sustainable community forestry.
