Why?
The American workforce is experiencing a shift as Baby boomers retire and more and more Generation X and Yers are moving into leadership roles. The business community recognizes the need to develop these new leaders to meet the challenges of the next decade. Even with the economic downturn, many large corporations are investing in leadership development programs.
Unfortunately, community organizations and small business are facing this same shift often without the resources to invest in expensive leadership programs. It is with the hope of filling this gap that NNFP began a leadership initiative designed specifically for community organizations and small businesses in sustainable community forestry. |
